A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the State of South Carolina. Candy isemployed at She’s Counseling Trichology and Consulting LLC. Her journey began at Columbia College where she obtained a degree in Psychology alongside a minor in Communications graduating in 2001. Fueling her passion for helping others, Candy furthered her education, earning a Masters in Professional Counseling from South University in 2007. Early in her career Candy worked as a Residential Counselor at DJJ. She’s also volunteered at The Hive Community working with survivors of Domestic and Intimate Partner violence.One thing that always remained unwavering is Candy’s desire to empower others to thrive in every aspect of their lives. Thus she ventured into the realm of life coaching, becoming a certified Life Coach walking alongside incredible individuals as they navigated through some of their darkest moments. When questioned about her ability to connect with other women, Candy responded withconviction, stating, “We’ve all faced challenges in life; I’ve had my fair share. The key is not to remain stagnant in our pain. I want to inspire others that their past is simply a place of reference. I take a holistic approach to healing, addressing your mind, body and spirit in a safe, judgement-free space. I’m passionate about working with families, couples, adolescents and women. I specialize in anxiety, depression, phase of life transitions and women’s issues. It is my mission to remind you that despite life’s hardships, there is always possibility for renewal and growth.
